Creation of timetables with history

Milestones of the journey of our company in a few notes:

  • 1988 - first graphic timetable programme for KC 85/3 und 4 (afterwards version 1.0)
  • 1989 - graphic timetable programme for BIC 5105 / PC1715 (afterwards version 2.0)
  • 1992 - graphic timetable for PC (MS DOS) firstly with calculation of travel time (version 3.0)
  • 1994 - at the open day of the railway labor of the TU Dresden first private sale of FBS (today FBSprivate)
  • 1995 - Extension of FBS for station timetable programme BFO to be deployed in Leipzig, Dresden, later also Nürnberg an other firm standpoits of the German Rail
  • 1996 - first foreign assignment: adaption and Sale of FBS to the Latvian State Railway
  • 1996 - first FBS for Windows®, now also with algorithm for automatic serch of train paths
  • 1997 - first operational concept: tender Burgenlandbahn for KEG
  • 1997 - first "professional" users in Germany: LNVG Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony, Bavaria, Schleswig-Holstein, DEG (later connex/Veolia) in Frankfurt a.M.
  • 1998 - FBS from now on also in research and teaching, primarily at the TU Braunschweig, later also in Dresden, Berlin, Leipzig, Prag, Zürich and Stuttgart
  • 1999 - Extension of FBS for a circulation timetable module with automatic optimization of circulation, purchase of FBS by the Austrian federal railroad
  • 2000 - first exhibition appearance at RailTec, Verkehr&Logistik and Innotrans; qolloquium on the subject of tilt technology as Start of the specialization on plannings of the operational and traffical utility
  • 2001 - first version of the FBS infrastrukture editor iFRANK for plannings of tilt technology; as from now FBS is also translatable in other languages, French and English belong to the standard equipment, later there will be also Czech and Greek
  • 2002 - purchase of FBS by the Greek National Railroad (OSE)
  • 2003 - moving in our office in Dresden, Helmholzstraße 1; foundation of the  der iRFP agencies in Paris und Prague
  • 2004 - FBS now also with Interval graphic; lectures about driving dynamics at the TU Dresden, faculty transport sciences "Friedrich List"
  • 2005 - use of the GPSInfraDat exposure technic for infrastrukture data and linkage to FBS
  • 2006 - first utilization of FBS south of the equator - in Brazil and Australia
  • 2007 - first FBS user conference, from now on we arganize regularly one or two user conferences per year
  • 2008 - for electronic orders of train paths at DB Netz AG we developed the FBS-TPN-Interface, it is intensively used by our customers
  • 2009 - user conference first takes place outside of Dresden: we come towards the FBS customers and on Leipzig there follow cities throughout Germany
  • 2010 - the central programmes of the FBS package are brought together in the integrates planning software iPLAN - this means a notable increase of user friendliness
  • 2011 - FBS is conditioned to the requirements of Windows7®
  • 2012 - now the funktion about fitting of the train courses to the locking frames wished by many operative users is available
  • 2013 - a new programme module for station timetables (BFO) in iPLAN was developed and detaches the old one with extended range of functions
  • 2014 - the company iRFP moved in February to the new and bigger office: Hochschulstraße 45 in Dresden, the closeness to the Technical University and to the central station lasts
  • 2015 - more and more frequently railway undertakings and FBS using transport services advised by iRFP gain competitive tendering procedures in the SPNV
  • 2016 - user of TOC desire, that the most common traffic advice can be read in ti iPLAN electronical. Now the new interface permitts that.
  • 2017 - The proven FBS paths portal interface for the data exchange with DB Netz was adapted to the new concept of the DB paths price system and has in it's version 4 a completely new designed and modern user interface. Also in iPLAN a new user surface is taking shape and will be extended in the future.
