For the annual timetable 2008 the German infrastructure manager DB InfraGO AG has introduced a new, electronic method for booking train paths. Here path-demands of the Train Operating Companies (TOC) can be delivered online to DB InfraGO AG for construction and planning, just as the constructed train paths or path rejections are returned to the TOC. iRFP offers an interface program for processing of framework contracts, applications or path offers as well as the order administration from and to DB InfraGO AG in conjunction with the timetable construction system FBS. With this interface, train paths created in FBS can be delivered online by a DB InfraGO AG- internal defined method to DB InfraGO as well as retraced, changed or cancelled. Finally path offers of DB InfraGO can be picked up the same way and be compared with the timetable created in FBS and be confirmed at DB InfraGO. The interface also supports working offline, that means a data exchange without a network connection to DB InfraGO.
