Example files
With the files below we want to give an overview over the output possibilities of our programmes and offer new FBS timetable data for understanding of further applications of the programmes. Maybe also you discover the one memory or another of appealing railway lines or times?
When ordering FBS you get a big part of the example data below (marked with *) and further ones.
The pdf-files can be opened e.g. with the Adobe Reader.
Hint: If you created or entered interesting timetables on your own, which could appear on this page, we would be pleased it you would tell us about that.

Zittau - Bertsdorf - Oybin/ -Jonsdorf | summer 1932 epoch II (period b) |
timetable of the Saxonian 750-mm narrow-gauge railway Zittau - Oybin/ -Jonsdorf, which was up to 1906 as Zittau - Oybin - Jonsdorfer Eisenbahn (ZOJE, also called "Zug ohne jede Eile" - train without any haste) the only private narrow-gauge railway in Saxony. The line is famous because it was double-track from 1913 to 1945 and had a huge amount of excursion traffics on Sundays. Fast trains as well as pre- and after trains run sometimes in the distance of 10 minutes. The example files contain in two graphic timetables (a: Zittau - Oybin and b: Bertsdorf - Jonsdorf) the summer timetable from 1932, which was on Sundays one of the closest on this line. According to the time the customer's timetable is displayed in the older lead type. | graphic timetable | 155 | * |

summer 1997 epoch V (period b) |
Since 1996 the lines Zittau - Oybin and Bertsdorf - Jonsdorf are private (more detailed local). The shown timetable from 1997 is the first of the new founded Sächsisch-Oberlausitzer Eisenbahngesellschaft (SOEG). Contained are two graphic timetables (a: Zittau - Oybin and b: Bertsdorf - Jonsdorf), a customer's timetable in the modern photosetting (see also example 1932), in part two driver's timetables and the station timetable of the station Bertsdorf. | graphic timetable | 112 | *

Nordhausen Nord - Wernigerode and Gernrode - Eisfelder Talmühle Harzquerbahn and Selketalbahn |
summer 1989 epoch IV (period c) |
The example data include the complete timetable of the Harzquer-, Brocken- und Selketalbahn of the timetable period from the 28.05.1989 to 26.05.1990. This timetable was the last one with an extensive freight transport, characterized by the change of traditions: While some trains already are plenned with "Harz-Kamelen" (e.g. 67074), there is also the famous double traction of two steam locomotives at the N 67092. Also contained are e.g. the transfers to the Ilfelder paper fabric or the touristic train of the FDGB with mallet locos to Benneckenstein. The graphic timetables are an example for the large-size output of the whole operating time on only two sheets. In the FBS network file also the original circulations of the engines are included. | graphic timetable | 598 | * |
customer's timetable | 58 | *
concept for 200X epoch V | This not realized timetable concept originates from a study to the possible clocking of the lines of the Harz under a wide use of diesel engines. Rudimentarily discernable are a 1-h-clock Nordhausen - Ilfeld, a 2-h-clock on the home line Nordhausen - Wernigerode and to the Brocken as well as several overlayed 4-h-clocks in the im Selketal. But the advantage of the clocked principe - regular connections at the junction stations - could be implemented only partially. As you can see in the circulation plans in the FBS network file, 6 steam locos of the BR 99.72, a steam loco of the BR 99.59 or 99.60 and 5 engines would have been necessary. | graphic timetable | 318 | *

Piraeus - Korinthos OSE |
summer 2003 epoch V |
Example for FBS timetables in no-latin characters: Included is the graphic timetable of the home line of the greek narrow-gauge network to the peninsula Halbinsel Peloponnes from the harbour of Athen Piräus over Athen's narrow-gauge station to Korinth. After crossing the isthmus and the canal of Korinth the trains spread in the peninsula to Olympia, Partas, Tripolis, Kyparissa and Kalamata. Some trains turn already off before Korith in the station Isthmos to Loutraki . In this timetable year caused by the striking lack of locomotives of the OSE only one train pair run orderly locomotive hauled. In near future the interesting narrow-gauge railway will be replaced by a standard-gauge new buildt line. | graphic timetable | 110 | * |
Perth - Inverness Highland main line |
summer 2003 epoch V |
The file contains the graphic timetable of the Highland main line, which leads from Perth over two passes and the highest point of the standard-gauged British railway network in the capital of the Schottish highlands. It is an example for a partially one-, partially two-track main line. You can see clear the two speed ranges because of the impact of the gradient to the locomotive-hauled trains. Only at the trains coupling and sharing of the night line from or to London there existed a locomotive-hauled tourist traffic at this point of time with the old class 37. |

Dresden Pirnaischer Platz - Dresden-Weixdorf - Königsbrück |
concept 200X epoch V |
The line Dresden-Klotzsche - Königsbrück has already had two operation forms: It was buildt as Saxon narrow-gauge railway and because of the heavy traffic rebuildt to a standard-gauged railway. But maybe this hasn't been the last change of the operation type: a future integration in the tram network of Dresden and the operation as an (intercommunal) tramway are at issue for a long time. The ending station of the line 7 in Dresden is in Weixdorf only few metres next to the (still) railway path. The timetable shows a possible concept with an extension of every second run of line 7 to Ottendorf-Okrilla and a 1-h-clocked run to Königsbrück. | graphic timetable | 327 | * |
Chemnitz - Geithain - Bad Lausick - Leipzig CLEX |
concept 2006 epoch V |
The KBS 525 connects the both big Saxon cities Leipzig and Chemnitz and is for the in regard to railway traffic disadvantaged city Chemnitz an important connection to the junction Leipzig. Thats why the line was renovated completely from 2000 to 2005 and developed for speeds up to 160 km/h. Since 1997 a reconstruction of the so called Arnsdorfer Kurve, wich allows a n operation of regional trains between Dresden and Kamenz without the long-lasting turning in the station Arnsdorf is discussed. Here you can see a variant of a timetable. graphic timetable Dresden-Neustadt - Kamenz over Arnsdorfer Kurve |

fictitious railway network Nadrauen |
ca. 200X | In this model network we summarized with fictitious places and lines all meaningful possibilities of the usage of FBS in the railway operation: From the rack railway on the Pelplinberg over the connecting railway to the Fa. Feuer & Flamme up to the big ITF junction with ICE-T-overhaul and RE-sharing in the station Darkehmen Hbf. This network is used in the education with FBS in different teaching institutes. | customer's timetble | 837 | N/A |
