In order to be able to explain a selection of the most important functions more quickly and efficiently, to show input masks and to present display and output possibilities, there are from now on video tutorials, which are intended to help explain and facilitate the handling of FBS. FBS-TPN interface version 4.0 to the DB Netz path portal

IRFP has developed the FBS-TPN interface (version 4.0), which has been tried and tested on the market and by many German railway companies since 2007. The new concept of the FBS-TPN interface includes various user-friendly innovations and functional improvements as well as the conversion of DB Netz's path portal, whose "version 4.0.0 valid from February 2017" (according to announcement from 01.04.2015). IRFP plans to implement this new concept with the following characteristics from the middle of 2016:

Infrastructure data import from the Open Data Portal of Deutsche Bahn

Deutsche Bahn AG has electronically published selected infrastructure data on its Internet sites within an open data portal under an open license, and has announced that it intends to expand this service on an ongoing basis.

In a first step, we offer you the station data in combination with minimum transfer times in your FBS network. The following data can be integrated into your FBS network:

FBS-Fplo converter for importing XML files of DB Netz construction

IRFP has developed a converter for the import of Fplo information for under-year construction measures, which enables FBS users to deal with these frequently used operational information more efficiently and with less manual effort.

In addition to a quick overview of the Fplo contents transmitted by DB Netz, the FBS-Fplo converter avoids a fault-prone, manual data transfer and provides a useful supplement to the FBS-TPN interface as long as this data is not contained standardized in the order process of the DB network  path portal.
